adonis completed £multi-million depot for keltruck

Midlands-based automotive and commercial specialist Adonis Construction has completed a new £2.5million depot in Worksop, Nottinghamshire for Keltruck Limited, the UK’s largest independent Scania dealer.

Built on the site of the former Manton Colliery, the state-of-the-art depot will offer a range of services designed to optimise the cost effectiveness of buying and maintaining a new or used Scania vehicle.

As well as an eight-bay dealer point with an air conditioned service centre for trucks, buses and coaches, the 10,000 sq ft depot will also house an MoT test preparation centre.

Its construction has led to the creation of 24 new, full-time jobs and according to Keltruck’s chairman and managing director Chris Kelly, it is already proving to be a major asset.

“Since this site opened, we’ve seen performance increase steadily and we’re confident it will play a key role going forward, contributing to the success of our existing 14 dealer points across the Midlands.

“We were impressed by the way Adonis handled the build and we found their attention to detail and commitment to customer service extremely refreshing. We’re delighted with the end result and it’s fantastic to have such a significant presence in Worksop.”
