ADONIS claims award at considerate constructors scheme

16.04.08

Adonis is celebrating its second triumph in as many months, after being recognised for one of the construction industry’s most honourable awards. At the recent ceremony in London, Adonis was presented with a bronze award in the Considerate Constructors Scheme, for its exceptional work at the Mercedes Benz car dealership in Ascot in 2007. The award marks a tremendously successful project for Adonis and reinforces its commitment to its corporate social responsibility.

The Considerate Constructors scheme is a site specific award, judging each contractor on 3 specific areas of its construction. Criteria include the environmental impact of the works, the facilities and cleanliness on site and the impact the site has on the general public and the area in which they are working.

Adonis is extremely proud of its exceptional health and safety record and to receive recognition of this kind is extremely gratifying for all those involved in the works.

Adonis was also “highly commended” for its work at the same site just a month before in the innovation in property award by AM Magazine.
