ADONIS MOTORS AHEAD WITH DAIMLERCHRYSLER
Dealership specialist Adonis Construction has secured a £3.6 million deal with one of the world’s most successful luxury car retailers.
DaimlerChrysler Retail has contracted the Midlands-based firm to build a state-of-the-art Mercedes showroom in Loughton, Essex.
Designed to showcase Mercedes’ latest ranges and offer workshop facilities, Adonis is working in partnership with Reading-based Arlington Development Management Ltd to deliver the 30,000 sq ft building on budget and on schedule.
Construction is already underway and the project is due to be completed in Spring 2007.
Neville Clements, managing director of Adonis Construction, said: “This is an extremely high profile project for one of the world’s premier automotive brands and we’re proud to be part of the delivery team.
“We have a track record for delivering high quality work that exceeds our customers’ expectations and this, combined with our extensive knowledge of the automotive sector, helped us secure this contract with DaimlerChrysler Retail. We’re looking forward to being part of the team and we’re confident it will be the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
Iris Jos-Wynne, corporate real estate director from DaimlerChrysler Retail said: “This is the first time we have worked with Adonis who came highly recommended by other motor groups. They were included in our tender process and have worked hard with us in planning the delivery of this high profile dealership at Loughton which replaces a short-term location in Edmonton. I'm looking forward to seeing this dealership open for business in Spring 2007.”
With its HQ in the Black Country, Adonis Construction is recognised as one of the UK’s leading names in terms of dealership design and build.
Over half of its £40million turnover comes from the automotive industry and the company also specialises in education, emergency services, healthcare, local authority and commercial projects. For further information on Adonis visit www.adonis-group.co.uk or call 01384 298989.
