ADONIS POISED FOR GROWTH WITH NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
27.04.06
Leading Midlands contractor Adonis Construction is setting an agenda for growth with the appointment of Adam Frankling as business development manager.
Adonis has seen its turnover rise by 20% in its last financial year to over £40million and is continuing to develop its business in new market sectors.
One of Mr Frankling’s key tasks will be to broaden the company’s presence in new markets across the Midlands, building upon its success as one of the leading contractors in state-of- the-art motor dealerships. Adonis has completed over 150 dealerships for the motor trade’s top brands since 1982.
Mr Frankling now lives in Wolverhampton and joins Adonis following five years as product manager for the British Woodworking Federation in London.
“Adonis has a broad base of construction expertise,” he said. “My remit is to strengthen our position in new build and refurbishment projects for public and private sectors including education, health and the emergency services.”
Adonis managing director Neville Clements believes Adam’s arrival gives the company the ability to exploit potentially lucrative new markets.
“In a changing market for construction we need to ensure we can take advantage of all the opportunities for growth and development, both locally and further afield. Adonis is committed to safety, quality and best value and we will be targeting companies and sectors which share the same objectives.
“I am delighted to welcome Adam to the team where his knowledge and enthusiasm will be instrumental in our plans for structured growth.”
Based in Ham Lane, Kingswinford, Adonis Construction has become one of the region’s most successful privately owned businesses.
Approximately half the firm’s turnover comes from the motor trade, with public sector work - via local authorities, police forces, schools and colleges - being another major contributor.
